  3. *Color Options

    ?

Which color option should I choose?
Flyers are typically printed one-side, with the back of the sheet left blank. The back side can be printed, too, however, for added effect. Since flyers must often stand out against other printed items posted nearby, color choices are important.

Full-color printing provides the maximum impact and visual appeal for most flyers. However, if your budget is tight, a well-conceived one-color design can prove an acceptable alternative.

  4. *Paper Choices

    ?

24 lb./60 lb. Offset Copy Paper (Uncoated) is a common, cost-effective paper stock perfect for simple copy jobs (most economical paper).

70 lb. Offset (Uncoated) is a one step up in weight used most frequently for two-sided printing on uncoated paper.

80 lb. gloss text is a super-smooth, glossy paper that adds an extra pop to full-color printing.

100 lb. gloss text is an impressive-feeling, medium weight paper that is most commonly used for two-sided brochures.

80 lb. gloss cover is a paper with a gloss coating that brings colors to life.

100 lb. Gloss Cover is a heavier paper with a gloss coating that brings colors to life.

  5. *Does this Job Bleed?

    ?

Bleed is when any of the image or type touches the edge of the sheet.

    ?
  6. *Folding Options

View Folded once in the center, creating two, equal halves.
View Bottom third folded up and top third folded down, overlapping it. Common for letters, flyers, and brochures.
  7. *Protective Coating

    ?

    What is Aqueous Coating?

Aqueous coating is a clear, fast-drying, water-based coating that is used to protect your print pieces from dirt, fingerprints, and the bumps and tears of daily life. It adds a rich quality to any piece, provides a durable, yet high-gloss, satin/soft-touch finish, and is an excellent choice for your frequently handled print items. This coating option is the least expensive finishing option and is more resistant to paper cracking marks when folded.

    What is UV Coating?

UV coating is a protective coating applied to a printed sheet, then bonded and cured with ultraviolet light. This high-gloss coating is very shiny and durable, protecting products that are handled frequently and reflecting light in an eye-catching way. A unique feature of UV coating is that it can be applied as a spot, meaning you could select which areas you would like coated, whereas aqueous coating is applied as a “flood” or over the entire piece.
